Nok-Out is a formulation of stabilized chlorine dioxide with an amazing 2000 parts per million chlorine dioxide! This is four times the concentration of any other chlorine dioxide based product, and is the only product availabe today in a stable, ready to use solution. It has a Class IV Non-Hazardous rating by EPA Registration.
PROCEDURES FOR USING NOK-OUT IN CLINICAL, HOME HEALTH, OR OTHER HEALTH CARE SETTINGS:
Use a cordless Duroblast Sprayer or Fogmaster Jr sprayer to make it easy to eliminate odors and pathogens from the air. If extra humidity is needed in a room, a vaporizer/humidifier may be used containing 8 oz. of Nok-Out in the tank. Run for up to 4 hours at a time.
Persons with an Ostomy may use Nok-out by adding 1 oz.to the bag. Nok-Out not only kills odors, it also is disinfecting the site.
Where body braces or prostheses are being used, Nok-out may be sprayed directly on the applicance, or on the body to remove common odors. Regular cleaning of other medical appliances such as a C-PAP are recommended by nurses and medical tech staff. They may be cleaned and disinfected with Nok-Out, providing a fresh smelling and totally clean appliance, one which will not allow mold, mildew spores to grow.
Odors in a wheelchair can be immediately removed with Nok-Out.. Spray the seat, armrest, and bottom of chair for best results. If removable seat covers are present, they may be washed in Nok-Out.
Spray Nok-Out around urinals and toilets, and allow to air dry for long-lasting odor removal. A daily spray will remove all odors completely, and will destroy destructive pathogens as well.
When changing bed linens, particularly when soiled by body fluids or solid waste, apply Nok-Out to sheets before putting them into a linen hamper. Before placing clean linen on the bed, spray Nok-Out on the mattress cover, or egg crate protector, and allow to dry for a few minutes. There is a residual effect, and Nok-Out will continue working even when dry.
If a person is allergic to soap, adding 4 oz. of Nok-out for every 20 gallons of water in the washer can eliminate the soap enzyme. Patients allergic to deodorants can use Nok-out on their body to eliminate odors.
Smelly mattresses and mattress pads may be rescued from body secretion odors. Long-standing odors may pose a more difficult application procedure but once Nok-out gets on the Source of the Odor Problem, it is gone.
The air in a room where chronic illnesses are present can be restored daily to a fresh, frangrance free environment with a quick misting spray of Nok-Out. Nok-Out leaves no residue to wipe or sponge away. Since it is water based, Nok-Out dries very quickly.
